Whether behind the mic, turntables or in front of a camera, Dan’s genuine talent and natural stage presence has proven to uplift any club, venue or screen.
Born and raised in Taylor Michigan, Dan gravitated towards the local music scene fueled by the neighboring historic music mecca of downtown Detroit. Starting as a DJ, Dan took advantage of the freedom of controlling the mic as well as the turntables. Soon after, his MC skills caught the ear of renowned Detroit producer Mike E. Clark (Kid Rock, Insane Clown Posse) ultimately leading to touring with ICP as hip hop act Super Glu.
In the years to follow, Dan’s experience on a professional stage mixed with the emerging underground electronic music movement has created a multi-dimensional artist with his ear to the street and his eye on the stars. His breakthrough club anthems “Therapy”, “Titty Dancer” and “Bad Habits” featured Dan’s spoken word style as more than just songs — it’s his life. “I’m just being me. If I feel it, I say it”, Dan says. His honest approach to lyric has led to collaborations with world renowned electronic music artists John Acquaviva, Sander Kleinenberg, Peace Division, Bad Boy Bill and Mark Knight to name a few.
