Fang Ling Lee is a contemporary artist, progressive painter, and sensual sculptor. Her exhibitions in galleries, museums and well carved niche in the adult, and comic industries have given her an eclectic and international following. Having cultivated a successful career in the art world, Fang has now shifted her expertise and creative skill set towards film, joining the crew of The Red Man as lead production designer.
Raised in an artistic family from Brooklyn, NY, Fang Ling Lee has exhibited in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, and New York City. Private collectors, as well as celebrities such as award winning adult star, and director Jenna Haze, and the Marc Sorrentino from MTV’s “Jersey Shore”, have purchased her art, and the Erotic Heritage Museum in Las Vegas includes Fang’s painting “Pet” in it’s permanent collection.
Most recently, Fang was commissioned to design, and cast the “Fanny” statuette for EXXXOTICA Expo’s Fan Choice Awards, where she was also a presenter. This relationship has also spawned countless trade show appearances, and the upcoming project “XOXO – Erotica With A Cause”, in conjunction with DuJour Marketing. Designed to bring social awareness to the erotic art world, and benefit local charities, it is a special project close to the artist’s heart.
Transcending into the medium of film, Fang Ling Lee’s dynamic style, magnetic charm, and unconventional perspective on art, and design will be a driving force behind the visual experience that is; The Red Man. Her ability to illustrate the symbolism and metaphors of the storyline will help to create a truly psychological cinematic experience.
